Insect Control in Cardiff
Insect problems run from the merely irritating to the genuinely distressing. Bed bugs and cockroaches can turn a home upside down; ants, moths and cluster flies are more nuisance than crisis. But all of them respond to the same discipline: identify the species correctly, treat the source rather than the strays you can see, and level with you about how many visits the biology demands.
If it’s crawling or flying and it shouldn’t be there, call us. If we don’t handle it, we’ll tell you who does.
Insect control in Cardiff: the treatments we carry out
Bed bugs
Bites in rows, spots on the mattress seams, that sinking feeling. Discreet, methodical treatment that never scatters the problem.

Cockroaches
Kitchens, HMOs and flats especially. Gel bait the roaches carry back into the colony: discreet and effective.

Fleas
Bites at the ankles, a restless pet, or a new home that’s started biting. Proven treatment that breaks the whole life cycle.

Moths
Holes in wool, threadbare carpet edges. Clothes and carpet moths: effective treatment aimed at the larvae, the part actually eating things.

Carpet beetles
The moth’s lookalike. Bristly “woolly bear” larvae doing the damage, traced to the source and treated thoroughly.

Ants
Summer trails to the kitchen, flying ants in July. Bait carried back to the queen: the nest ends, not just the trail.

Cluster flies
Hundreds of sluggish flies at the windows each autumn, hibernating in the loft, and loyal to the same house every year.

Common questions
Can I not just buy a spray from the shop?
For a stray ant trail, maybe. For bed bugs, cockroaches or anything established, shop products tend to scatter the problem rather than solve it, which makes the professional job bigger. If we think you can genuinely handle it yourself, we’ll say so on the phone.
Do you treat the whole house?
Rarely necessary. Most insect work targets the affected rooms and the harbourage points: the seams, cracks, voids and quiet corners where they actually live. We’ll explain exactly what we’re treating and why.
How should I prepare for a treatment?
Depends on the insect: fleas and bed bugs need a bit of preparation, ants and moths barely any. A short, clear list comes with the booking. Nothing complicated.
What do insect treatments cost?
It depends on the pest, the rooms affected and any follow-up the biology demands. Our pest control cost guide lists typical visit counts for most insect jobs, since that’s where the bulk of any price comes from. Send a photo or ring and you’ll have a figure, in writing, before we attend, and free to ask for.
Something crawling or flying that shouldn’t be?
A photo usually settles it. Send one over and we’ll tell you what it is and what it takes.
